Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at Strategic Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset recovery and debt resolution, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts, negotiating payment plans, and resolving disputes with customers.

Your primary goal will be to maximize recoveries while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, prioritizing those with the highest potential for recovery.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers, taking into account their financial situation and ability to pay.
  • Resolve disputes with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including borrowers, attorneys, and third parties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in asset recovery, debt resolution, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
