Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our dynamic survey team. As a Project Surveyor, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our projects, from residential and commercial land development to cutting-edge renewable energy initiatives. You will work closely with our project managers to contribute your expertise and insights during proposal and project planning phases, ensuring optimal project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with project managers to contribute your insights during proposal and project planning phases, ensuring optimal project outcomes.
  • Execute with Precision: Collaborate with project managers to support the technical aspects of projects, focusing on adherence to scope and standards while meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize Cutting-Edge Tools: Employ AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other software daily to deliver high-quality results in line with prescribed standards and budgets.
  • Review and Refine: Analyze survey field calculations and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate and Coordinate: Maintain effective communication with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders to foster a cohesive and dynamic team environment.
  • Grow and Develop: Take advantage of paid training, development events, industry conferences, and networking opportunities to advance your career and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
Qualifications
  • Expert Knowledge: Advanced understanding of boundary surveys and boundary resolution, legal descriptions, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys (conventional and aerial/Lidar), leveling, traversing, GPS, data collection, terrestrial scanning, and point clouds, as well as title and real estate documents.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Trimble equipment, Trimble Access, and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
  • Field Experience: Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: SIT or PS certification is preferred.
