Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Multi-Purpose Clerk to join our team. This role may be assigned to one of several departments within the store, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Promote sales within assigned department
  2. Answer customer questions and respond to customer requests for products
  3. Accurately place special orders
  4. Practice safe food handling procedures and maintain a clean work area
  5. Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment and quality
  6. Stock, rotate, and merchandise product to maintain freshness and department appeal
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Capability to be proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job
Physical Demands

This role requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis, as well as lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
