POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Education Specialist within Global Knowledge, your primary responsibility will be to represent Skillsoft ILT while delivering exceptional training in accordance with vendor specifications and the quality standards outlined in Skillsoft / Global Knowledge's quality protocols.

Your role will also involve providing sales assistance as needed, staying updated on technological advancements and industry trends, and promptly relaying delegate sales leads. During periods when you are not delivering training, you will collaborate with sales and product management, offering sales support and engaging with customers, addressing all operational, sales, and customer inquiries within the designated timeframe, and attending vendor Train-the-Trainer sessions as required, with the readiness to share knowledge with all full-time trainers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve qualification and authorization to deliver assigned training programs prior to the initial delivery, ensuring adherence to the appropriate vendor processes.
  • Conduct training sessions as specified by the course vendor in coordination with the designated scheduling manager.
  • Deliver training programs to the required quality standards as outlined in Global Knowledge's quality protocols.
  • Comply with vendor-specific requirements, including obtaining and renewing certifications and adhering to examination and invigilation guidelines.
  • Pursue agreed-upon development plans and ensure that preparation time and collaborative teaching sessions are effectively utilized to achieve these objectives.
  • Meet the necessary standards in the transfer of technical skills and instructional techniques as evaluated in collaborative teaching sessions.
  • Be prepared to conduct courses at all Global Knowledge centers and client locations as necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry and vendor technologies, examination, and certification guidelines, sharing relevant information with colleagues as appropriate.
  • Provide sales support through delegate leads and customer interactions.
  • Respond promptly to all operational requests for contact, information, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage the classroom environment to minimize disruptions and ensure delegate satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets or exceeds company expectations.
  • Exhibit and promote a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain constructive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
  • Perform any additional duties as necessary to support the growth and objectives of Global Knowledge.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • Certification as an ITIL Master.
  • Documentation of relevant exam certifications.
  • Experience delivering courses such as ITIL Foundation and ITIL Advanced.
  • Proven experience in conducting training events.
