Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver/Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities- Support Individuals with Daily Living Tasks: Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living tasks to promote independence and well-being.
- Encourage Participation in Community Activities: Support individuals in participating in community activities, such as shopping, dining, and recreational activities, to promote socialization and community integration.
- Develop and Implement Individualized Support Plans: Work with individuals and their support teams to develop and implement individualized support plans that promote growth, learning, and independence.
- Provide Emotional Support and Guidance: Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, as needed, to promote emotional well-being and stability.
- Collaborate with Support Teams: Collaborate with support teams, including family members, healthcare professionals, and other support staff, to ensure comprehensive support and care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a patient and compassionate approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
