Our client is a thought leader in a broad range of legal disciplines, leveraging geographic and interpersonal relationships with the state's capital and decision-making engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and representation to public agencies on various litigation matters, including administrative writs, government claims act, public contracting litigation, and CEQA.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services to public entities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting public agencies and provide guidance on compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's litigation practice and participate in pro bono projects.

Requirements

  • At least 34 years of experience in municipal litigation, with a strong track record of success.
  • Hands-on experience working with public agencies/entities.
  • Barred in the state of California.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid-remote work setting in Downtown Sacramento.
