Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Leader to lead a survey crew in South Carolina. This position will report to our Charleston office.

This role requires a leader with strong team management skills and experience working in a family-owned company that values integrity and quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys of moderate complexity, including construction stakeout
  • Analyze data from various sources to determine boundaries and topographic features
  • Develop and implement methods for establishing or reestablishing survey control points
  • Maintain accurate records and sketches to document work performed
  • Collaborate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Supervise and mentor survey crew members
  • Foster strong relationships with property owners, clients, and colleagues
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and at least 5 years of experience as a Crew Chief
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Proficiency in data collectors and field equipment, including Robotic Total Station and GPS
  • Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
