Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the department supervisor, organizes and prioritizes production tasks to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Addresses inquiries and resolves issues that may arise during production.
  • Maintains customer relations by providing exceptional service as needed.

  • Collaborates with the supervisor to refine operational methods aimed at resolving challenges and enhancing product quality.
  • Keeps the Production Whiteboard updated with relevant information.
  • Works alongside the supervisor to adjust production plans in response to equipment malfunctions or operational challenges.
  • Ensures adherence to company standards regarding cost management, waste reduction, quality assurance, safety protocols, and timely delivery.
  • Communicates material requirements to the supervisor.
  • Demonstrates commitment to ISO and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Utilizes RF Gun technology for inventory management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a production or warehouse environment.
  • Associate's degree in business or a related discipline, or evidence of ongoing education is preferred.
  • Proven experience in training and developing departmental staff.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and procedural documents.
  • Capable of effectively presenting information to team members.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to identify and solve practical issues, gather data, establish facts, and draw logical conclusions in situations with limited standardization.
  • Proficient in interpreting various forms of instructions, including written, oral, and visual formats.
  • Skilled in understanding complex technical instructions.

Additional Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with production equipment and tools, including forklifts and automated machinery.
  • Understanding of packaging and sales order processes.
  • Insight into human behavior and motivational factors impacting employee performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Competence in using standard office equipment.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and circumstances.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, typically 8 hours daily.
