About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier Part-Time Associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service at the register, ensuring every customer exits on a high note.
  • Showcase great customer service, answering questions and providing guidance during checkout.
  • Engage with customers, providing a professional experience and identifying opportunities to upsell and promote products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store, adhering to company standards and protocols.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cashier, salesperson, or retail associate.
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • Customer-focused and goal-oriented mindset.

Pay Range

$17.85 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
