This is a hands-on role that provides an opportunity to solve complex business, data, and technical challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong fundamental understanding of data structures and be proficient in core programming languages such as JavaScript and Python. Prior experience with developing in an automated decision engine such as Provenir is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with credit analysts and data scientists to understand desired business intent and translate functional intent into user stories and testable component designs.
  • Implement credit strategies and rules into an automated decision engine.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and functional tests using various frameworks.
  • Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist in writing technical documentation for our decision engine implementation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional development experience including agile engineering practices like sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Core programming knowledge (JavaScript, Python, etc.) to implement integration logic and a strong fundamental understanding of data structures.
  • Passion for producing clean, error-free code and proactively identifying potential issues.
  • Prior experience with developing in an automated decision engine such as Provenir is a strong plus.
