Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Bear Creek Memory Care in Molalla, OR. As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized care to elderly residents with dementia and other forms of memory loss.

Estimated Salary:$17-$19 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Follow directions from Medtechs and managers to provide direct care services.
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Listen to and respond to resident needs, communicating their health status to relevant staff.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • US Work Authorization.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Previous experience caring for elderly persons with dementia is preferred but not required.
  • Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Compassion and patience are essential.
  • Able to follow protocol and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • A self-starter able to work independently or with minimal direction.
  • Flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
