Job Title: Import Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Import Manager to join our team at Coda Search│Staffing. As an Import Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and development of Customs Brokerage Operations at our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Customs Brokerage services for clients, ensuring seamless and efficient import processes.
  • Develop, implement, and improve Customs Brokerage policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on U.S. Customs laws and regulations to internal teams and clients, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
  • Analyze company processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Handle U.S. Customs rejections and compliance issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Lead and mentor Customs Brokers and Entry Writers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding and development.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a U.S. Customs Broker License.
  • 5+ years of experience in Customs Brokerage Operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. Customs laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on business growth and development.
  • Proven strategic planning skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Previous managerial and team-building experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Bachelor's degree is highly recommended, with a focus on a relevant field such as international trade or logistics.
