Role Overview:
The Advanced Clinician will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, including comprehensive evaluations, treatment plans, and thorough documentation. This role also involves providing professional communication and support to Supervisors in areas such as staff development, management assistance, and clinical mentoring for both staff and students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology is required.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist is essential. Previous employment at Emerson Hospital for over two years is preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience is also advantageous.
- Licensure and Certification: BLS certification is required within four months of hire. A current license to practice in Massachusetts is mandatory.
- Skills: The candidate must possess clinical expertise relevant to the patient demographics served. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment are critical. A courteous and professional demeanor is required when interacting with patients and colleagues. The ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent situations is essential. Commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction is expected. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary. Computer literacy is required, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong leadership, training, and mentorship skills are essential.
