We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner in our Medical-Surgical department at Barnesville Hospital Association, Inc. This is a part-time PRN position that offers the flexibility you need to balance your personal and professional life.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner will work under the supervision of our experienced nursing team to provide high-quality patient care in our inpatient hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide routine medical care, including ordering lab tests and medications as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and enhance clinical knowledge

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP)
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a Medical-Surgical unit
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
