Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, fostering a patient-centered approach and ensuring the highest quality of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assess and recognize subtle or actual changes in patients' status, taking prompt action to address any concerns and ensure patient safety.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to members of the healthcare team, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research, incorporating this knowledge into your nursing practice to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse; successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
