Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team at the J.D. McCarty Center. As a Pediatric Rehabilitation Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children with developmental disabilities, birth to 21 years of age. Your expertise will be essential in creating and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with developmental disabilities, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, incorporating medical, therapeutic, and behavioral goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and address complex patient needs.
  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or LPN working towards RN licensure, and a license to practice nursing in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and participate in physical activities as required by the job.
  • One-year probationary period.
  • Good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to pass COVID screener and participate in periodic COVID testing and protocols.
