We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Chiller Mechanic to join our team at Edgewood Independent School District. As an Auxiliary/HVAC Chiller Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our district's HVAC chiller systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair HVAC chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC chiller systems, using technical knowledge and experience to resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of district facilities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HVAC chiller maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC chiller maintenance and repair, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC chiller systems, including components, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights, as required.
Edgewood Independent School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Hourly rate of $25.40, with additional consideration based on experience.
