Job Title: LVN/LPT

Role Overview:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) at Stars Behavioral Health Group, you will provide direct client care, including medication administration, and maintain a safe and supportive environment for our clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care and support to those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care, including medication administration
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for our clients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in shift assignments and plans to ensure quality care delivery

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of LVN or LPT
• Minimum of one year of experience in treating mentally ill patients in an inpatient setting
• Valid California LVN or LPT license
• Valid California Driver's License preferred

About the Role:

The LVN/LPT provides direct client care including medications. Maintains vigilance over the general milieu within the facility to facilitate quality client care, optimum facility operations and preserve the safety of all therein. Visually and audibly observes, documents in writing and reports orally or in writing the physical or mental condition of patients to the Registered Nurse in charge of the facility on the shift and the attending physician.

Division/Program Overview:

Our 24/7 outpatient program provides rapid mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and medication support. We welcome walk-ins and offer flexible scheduling to accommodate our clients' needs. Our BHUCC is equipped to serve 12 adults and 6 adolescents, providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals aged 13 and above.
