Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have experience in NICU settings and be proficient in high-frequency oscillator ventilation, airway management, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill neonates and infants in the NICU
  • Manage ventilators, including Draeger and Servo I
  • Administer medications and perform airway management procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification
  • Experience in NICU settings, with a focus on high-risk deliveries and ventilator management
  • Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, and ventilator management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with high-frequency oscillator ventilation
  • Knowledge of EPIC system
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Please note that all previous employees of Providence-affiliated facilities must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position.
