Position Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Associate is tasked with the effective sorting and processing of merchandise, ensuring that reusable items are quickly prepared for resale. This role demands a fast-paced approach to categorizing products for recycling while ensuring that non-recyclable materials are appropriately disposed of.

Shift Details:
First Shift: 6am - 2:30pm; Availability required Monday through Friday
Compensation: $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to guarantee proper sorting
  • Loading items into processing machinery
  • Operating the dumping machinery
  • Completing basic paperwork and maintaining logs of weights and items
  • Utilizing pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided, prior experience is advantageous) to maneuver large bins and boxes, as well as stack pallets

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory

This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of walking and standing. Additionally, it may require the use of uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
