We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to join our team at Omega Point Partners. As a key leader, you will oversee project implementation of plant maintenance projects while developing a reliability-based maintenance strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Maintenance Team: Manage and direct the maintenance team in areas of safety, planning, TPM/reliability, cost, efficiency, quality, and labor utilization.
- Develop Maintenance Programs: Determine skills needed on various operating shifts and schedule craftsmen accordingly. Ensure maintenance craftsmen are qualified to do the work they are assigned; and arrange HS&EP training to comply with site standards.
- Implement Best Practices: Develop and implement the plant's overall preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Implement maintenance and reliability best practices to ensure equipment dependability and efficiency.
- Manage Budget and KPIs: Create the maintenance departmental budget, goals, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Maintain spare parts and critical equipment lists and inventory.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Resolve manufacturing process and maintenance problems by initiating corrective/preventive initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Lead the development of plant turnarounds and drive Process Safety Management (PSM), Health Safety and Environmental, and continuous improvement plans.
- Education: BS in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical) or AS with 12+ years in progressive chemical plant, paper mill, or refinery maintenance with maintenance leadership experience.
- Experience: 8+ years in Plant Maintenance/Reliability Leadership in PSM-regulated chemical plant. 3+ years experience in leading and directing maintenance/reliability teams, including engineers, mechanics, and technicians.
- Skills: Skilled in managing technical projects, maintenance planning, and plant turnarounds. Facilities maintenance experience. Skilled in the use of CMMS maintenance software systems. Practiced in implementing predictive/preventive maintenance programs. Knowledge in PSM, OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards.
