Pediatric Intensivist Opportunity

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing healthcare team at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, UT.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care to pediatric patients in the combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU with occasional tele-consultation with our satellite pediatric inpatient unit in Ogden, UT.
  • No newborn coverage required.
  • 24/7 split coverage of both units with rounding in the morning and then call from home after business hours.
  • Cover an average daily census of 4-6 combined PICU/pediatric patients.
  • Also responsible for outpatient sedations mostly for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week.
  • Work closely with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, craniofacial/plastic surgery, otolaryngology, and interventional radiology.
  • Comprehensive pediatric programs with nutrition, child life, case management, and administration support.
  • Provide support to a large collegial network of primary care pediatric providers.
  • The hospital includes a robust Level III NICU.
  • Can support Visa Physicians.
