Combat Medic Job Description

As a Combat Medic, you will provide emergency medical treatment and limited primary care in a variety of operational and clinical settings. You will be responsible for force health protection, evacuation, and providing medical care/treatment at point of wounding on the battlefield or to battle and non-battle casualties during wartime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical treatment and limited primary care
  • Force health protection and evacuation
  • Medical care/treatment at point of wounding
Requirements:
  • Age: 17 to 34 years old
  • Education: Current Senior in High School, HS Diploma, GED or higher
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident or green card holder
  • Background and medical screening
  • Meet Army height and weight standards
Benefits:
  • Up to $40K bonus (Active)
  • Up to $115,000 for additional education benefits (Active)
  • 30 days vacation with pay per year (Active)
