Experienced CCT Mechanic Wanted

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a skilled and experienced CCT Mechanic to join our team at the CSX East Syracuse rail terminal. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and analyzing malfunctions, completing repairs, and efficiently rebuilding chassis & trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair all types of equipment utilized on the terminal, including welding and minor fabrication skills.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all systems, including brakes, electrical, hydraulic, air suspension, and drivetrain.
  • Rebuild components of the above systems and possess qualifications of an Apprentice mechanic (B) with the ability to perform those duties without supervision.
Requirements:
  • 2 YEARS* prior CCT mechanic experience.
  • Valid Driver's License, and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
