Job Summary

The Kay County Community Based Prevention Services (CBPS) is seeking a highly skilled Grant Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, the Grant Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the effort of the funded project, including the development and facilitation of a Community Data Work-group (CDW) to work on community needs assessment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment. They will be responsible for following the guidelines of the Strategic Prevention Framework model, working with the partnering coalition to develop work plans and implement work plan objectives, conducting needs assessments and surveys as needed.

The Grant Coordinator will also be responsible for conducting training, organizing special events, providing technical assistance, and attending local, regional, and statewide meetings as required. They will identify community needs and gaps in services, network with community agencies, and remain knowledgeable about systems within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the effort of the funded project
  • Develop and facilitate a Community Data Work-group (CDW)
  • Follow the guidelines of the Strategic Prevention Framework model
  • Work with the partnering coalition to develop work plans and implement work plan objectives
  • Conduct needs assessments and surveys as needed
  • Conduct training and organize special events
