Position Overview
As a Comprehensive Care Physician at Oak Street Health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering equitable and effective healthcare to our Medicare patient populations through our innovative network of community-based primary care centers. Our physicians are supported by extensive care teams, allowing them to concentrate on providing high-quality care rather than merely increasing service volume.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients at local clinics.
- Supervise and manage primary care services.
- Prescribe and oversee pharmaceutical treatments.
- Maintain accurate Patient Electronic Medical Records.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve health quality objectives.
- Partner with Practice Managers to lead the center care team.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or board eligible).
- Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
- Valid DEA license.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
- A commitment to embodying the values of Oak Street Health.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Geriatrics.
- Experience in treating Geriatric populations.
- Familiarity with Value-Based Healthcare Models.
- Background in collaborative healthcare settings.
- Experience in outpatient primary care environments.
