Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Site Coordinator to join our team at Support Services of Virginia. As an essential member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their goals and live their best lives.

Estimated Salary: $14.50 per hour

About the Role:

The Assistant Site Coordinator position involves implementing individual support plans, providing leadership and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals, and modeling positive practices within the workplace. This role requires flexibility and availability during various shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends. Travel to our Chatham site is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individual support plans for assigned individuals
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals
  • Act as a role model for positive practices within the workplace

Qualifications:

  1. Able to pass criminal/registry background checks
  2. High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  3. Proof of highest level of education
  4. Clear tuberculosis screening
  5. Self-motivated and positive attitude
  6. Excellent communication skills at all levels
  7. Strong time management skills
  8. Capacity to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  9. Able to pass and maintain CPR/First Aid, Medication Management, Medicaid Waiver Certification, and Core Competencies
  10. Basic math skills
  11. Meet the physical requirements of the position
  12. Valid driver's license from the State of permanent resident and driving record must be accessible and in good standing
