Samaritan Albany General Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care travel nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in a timely manner.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in unit-specific quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification.
- AGH ICU-CCU: ACLS certification.
- TNCC and PALS certifications preferred.
- Previous ICU experience preferred.
