Job Summary:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to fill a full-time remote role with a school district in California. As a Telehealth Occupational Therapist, you will work with K-12 students, handling a caseload of 26 students with various levels of needs, from mild to severe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategies to enhance fine motor skills in students
- Develop tailored approaches to support each student's unique progress
- Adapt remote therapy sessions for both individual and group settings
- Collaborate virtually with school staff to ensure effective support for students
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of occupational therapy experience required
- Active Occupational Therapist License in California
- Residency in California is not required; however, you need to hold a license for both your home state and the state where you will provide services
- Must maintain personal professional liability insurance as an independent contractor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OT in a school environment
