We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Injury Specialist to join our Sports Medicine team at Freeman Health System. As an Athletic Injury Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to athletes and individuals with sports-related injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat athletes with sports-related injuries, providing rehabilitation and follow-up evaluations as needed.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide on-site injury assessment and treatment during athletic events, ensuring that athletes receive prompt and effective care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools and athletic programs to provide athletic injury coverage and education.

Requirements

  • Current Athletic Trainer license for the state in which you are practicing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
