Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Radiology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures, adjusting immobilization devices and equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and other types of care to patients.
- Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state license.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- American Society of Radiologic Technology (ASRT) preferred.
