Cafeteria Substitute Worker

Job Summary:
Marlborough Public Schools is seeking a reliable and skilled Cafeteria Substitute Worker to assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals to students and staff
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the cafeteria
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions:

The Cafeteria Substitute Worker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
