Teaching Opportunity in TCM Etiology and Pathology of Disease

The New England School of Acupuncture is seeking a subject matter expert to teach online coursework in TCM etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment of disorders commonly treated with acupuncture. This is a part-time position that requires a master's degree or higher, experience in TCM acupuncture clinical practice, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience teaching online is an advantage.

Course Details
  • The course will cover pattern identification, differential/pattern diagnostic skills, and treatment strategies.
  • Clinical research findings will also be included for building evidence-based practice.
  • The TCM Etiology and Pathology of Disease course is a 3-credit, 45-hour online synchronous course that is held over a period of 2 class meetings per week.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver synchronous instruction through online Learning Management System.
  • Provide an active learning environment for students.
  • Periodic assessments of student progress.
  • Adhere to the course syllabus.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Dean or Associate Dean.
