Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team at Community Radiology Associates.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
As a Ultrasound Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists to assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for understanding the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory behind the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
- Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory behind the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information.
- Monitor patient well-being during exams and recognize potential medical problems or patient discomfort.
Requirements
- Completed ultrasound technologist program with diploma.
- Passed SPI exam preferred.
- Current ARDMS certifications or ARRT (S) or ARDMS Registry/ARRT (S) Eligible preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a shift of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. A bonus/incentive of $7,500.00 is also offered.
Pay Range
USD $35.00 - USD $45.00 per hour
