As a Licensed Practical Nurse with The GEO Group, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to inmates and detainees while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation services, and we are seeking an experienced LPN to join our growing team of professionals.

About the Role

This challenging yet rewarding opportunity involves working closely with our Registered Nurse to develop nursing care plans, perform physical assessments, and provide medical care within your capacity. You will be responsible for administering medications, documenting patient interactions, and maintaining confidentiality of medical records.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state where the facility is located.
  • TWO years of direct work experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision in performing nursing diagnosis and providing appropriate follow-through treatment.
  • Must possess competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, medical nursing care, and psychiatric nursing care.
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
