Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Unit Nurse for a travel nursing job in a reputable hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ICU nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients assigned
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required
  • Must have a strong MS/Tele background
  • Preferred Skills & Experience: Ventilator, Post-cardiac surgery experience, Post-surgical experience, ACLS - AHA, BLS - AHA, NIHSS, RN License
