Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Security Systems Technicians to support our branch in Arlington/Sherman, Texas. The ideal candidates are interested in career growth, detailed, and have a passion for the security systems industry. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and/or service of Video, Burglar, and Fire Alarms, and Access Control Systems. This will involve demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors to express ideas and technical concepts to problem solve.


Additionally, the role will require maintaining accurate records of all work performed, material used, and communicating any problems encountered or identified with the alarm system. The ideal candidate will be able to organize their workload effectively and work with a sense of urgency while being committed to customer service satisfaction and representing the company in a professional manner.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Burglar, Fire Alarms, Video, and Access Control Systems. You must have functional and technical knowledge combined with professional experience.


The role requires the ability to excel in problem-solving and demonstrate the ability to multitask. A thorough knowledge of systems and best safety practices is essential, as well as maintaining a regular and punctual attendance and accepting assignments with an open and positive attitude.


Benefits

This position is non-benefitted, other than those mandated under state or federal law. However, ApTask offers subsidized insurance coverage to our employees.
