Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Driver to join our team at Quality Custom Distribution (QCD). As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating company equipment and delivering products to our customers in a timely and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination trucks to transport and deliver products
  • Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations
  • Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck conditions
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and other federal and company required records/logs
  • Unload/load product at store with assistance from store personnel
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and current DOT Medical certification card
  • One year driving tractor-trailer experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate to maintain positive customer relations climate
  • Capable of standing, walking, and repeatedly climbing into and out of road tractor or switch tractor
  • Ability to work all necessary work schedules, including holidays/weekends
