The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Midwifery Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Obstetrics and Gynecology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional women's health care services, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and family planning.

• Manage women's health care services, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care
• Practice within the health care system, performing consultation, collaborative management, or referral as needed
• Participate in the education and training of student nurse midwives, advanced practice providers, medical students, residents, and fellows
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Participation in the Certificate Maintenance Program with the American Midwifery Certification Board
• CNM license with the New Mexico Department of Health
• RN license with the New Mexico Board of Nursing
• State of New Mexico Board of Pharmacy certification and federal DEA registration

• Experience teaching adult learners
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
• Interest in participating in clinical research
• At least one year of clinical experience working in an academic medical center
