About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide initial mental health diagnostic assessments, triage, and determine the services needed for individuals and families. You will also provide treatment and case coordination according to established performance indicators.
Responsibilities- Provide initial mental health diagnostic assessments and triage
- Determine the services needed for individuals and families
- Provide treatment and case coordination according to established performance indicators
- Work with adults and children with a variety of presenting problems
- Diagnose and assess clients
- Document client information
- Communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, or related field (LPC/LCSW)
- Licensure as a mental health professional in the State of Arkansas per requirements of the Medicaid OBH Manual
- Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer for e-mail and electronic medical record
- Provide clinical supervision as required by OBH
