Wrestling Coach

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Wrestling Coach to join our team at San Clemente High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the Wrestling program, promoting a positive image for the school, and supporting the "Pursuing Victory with Honor" component.

• Act as a liaison between the school and the community to promote a positive image for the program.
• Organize and schedule practices and games for all levels.
• Organize summer camps and off-season programs.
• Support the "Pursuing Victory with Honor" component within the Wrestling program.

• Previous coaching experience in Wrestling at the high school level or above is preferred.
• Participation in Wrestling at the high school level or above is preferred.
• Ability to develop and manage a Wrestling program within the established philosophy of the athletic department, school, district, and C.I.F.
• Knowledge of C.I.F. Blue Book Constitution and By-Laws.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and organization for all levels of the high school Wrestling program.
• Knowledge and experience in regard to Wrestling coaching techniques and ability to convey those techniques effectively to young student athletes.
• Ability to demonstrate leadership of a successful Wrestling program.
• Possess a valid CPR/First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Possess and provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Concussion in Sports Class Training.
• Possess and provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Sudden Cardiac Arrest Class.
• Possess and provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Sudden Heat Illness Prevention Class.
• Possess and provide a valid completion certificate of NFHS/Fundamentals of Coaching Training.
• Possess and provide a current Mantoux, PPD or TST TB test results.
