Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will assist the parts manager in maintaining inventory on a daily basis. This includes ensuring unused outside purchase parts are returned to vendors, preparing for annual parts inventory, pulling parts from pick tickets, and conducting bin counts weekly.
Responsibilities:- Assist in maintaining daily inventory levels
- Return unused parts to vendors
- Prepare for annual inventory checks
- Pull parts for technicians
- Stage parts invoices for shuttle drivers
- Conduct weekly bin counts
- Put away stock daily
- Maintain warehouse security
- Keep the parts area clean
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
- Automotive experience is beneficial but not required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Eligibility to work in the US
- Pass a drug test
- Self-discipline and motivation to exceed expectations
- Lift up to 70 pounds
- Able to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment
