At AWP Safety, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Fleet and Equipment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day fleet and equipment operations within our assigned area.
Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the fleet and equipment operations team.
- Work closely with local and regional management to achieve operational targets and goals.
- Oversee corporate fleet and equipment programs, including repair and maintenance, availability status, replacement planning, and auditing.
- Promote and educate divisional management on local and federal fleet and equipment regulations.
- Engage in strategic planning and decision-making related to maintenance, repair, and replacement of fleet and equipment.
- Evaluate and negotiate fleet service and supply agreements with vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in recruitment and training of department-related employees.
- Prepare and communicate reports to senior leadership.
- Assist in managing the fuel card and GPS program.
- Maintain asset branding procedures.
- Research and implement new procedures and processes.
- Maintain relationships with outside vendors.
- Assist in safety compliance and other compliance-related activities.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience or a 4-year degree in a business-related field.
- Five years of fleet and equipment mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.
