We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our in-house therapy team at The Parks Senior Living. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with a smaller daily caseload, focusing on optimizing time with patients, particularly those with high acuity, Alzheimer's, and intellectual disabilities. You will also receive program and certification support to ensure your success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Speech Therapy plans of care for facility residents and short-term patients, working under the supervision of our SLP clinical supervisor as needed.
- Assist with patient screens for Speech Therapy and communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.
- Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient's specific plan of care and recommendations for follow-up.
- Maintain productivity standards as expected by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech Therapist or Speech Therapy CFY.
