Assembly Craftsperson

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Fabricator to join our team at Lexicon, Inc. in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication.

Estimated Salary: $45,000-$60,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to plan and perform welding and fabrication tasks.
2. Select and prepare materials and tools needed for each task.
3. Perform various types of welding, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux cored arc welding (FCAW).
4. Clean and inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
5. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in industrial fabrication or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

• Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• May be exposed to dust, fumes, and other hazardous materials.
• Regular attendance and punctuality required.
