Essential Duties:

  • Select and prepare ingredients while adhering to recipes and dietary orders.
  • Monitor and follow tray cards, ensuring accurate meal delivery.
  • Assist in receiving and checking food supplies, and orient new staff members.
  • Uphold residents' rights and report any equipment or supply needs.
  • Prepare for upcoming meals by checking inventory and following cleaning protocols.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess a genuine interest in working with geriatric populations and an understanding of their unique needs. Strong communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and teamwork are essential.
