Driving Instructor

Coastline Academy is a leading driver education company in the United States, dedicated to providing high-quality driving lessons to students. Our mission is to teach safe and confident driving skills to individuals of all ages.

We are seeking a skilled and patient Driving Instructor to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for educating and advising students on the fundamentals of operating a vehicle behind the wheel. You will work in a company-provided vehicle, teaching students in a safe and controlled environment.

• Teach practical skills related to all aspects of driving, including vehicle control and emergency procedures.
• Provide instruction on the rules of the road and help students develop confidence in their driving skills.
• Document and report on students' progress, maintaining timely communication with your supervisor and support team.
• Maintain professionalism with students and fellow team members, adhering to Coastline Academy's high standards.

• A genuine passion for helping people learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a learning environment.
• A valid State Driver's License in the state you wish to work in.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check.
• Must have 10 years of legal driving experience.
• A strong safety mindset and strong reasoning ability.

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle.
• Must be able to see and hear during all weather conditions.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, touch, and feel.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
