Job Title: Diesel Mechanic II - Generator Field Service

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic II to join our team at Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison. As a Generator Field Service Diesel Mechanic II, you will be responsible for identifying and repairing abnormalities with customer's power generation equipment at their place of business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately diagnose and repair standard problems with power generation equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.
  • Identify and order necessary parts to complete repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide assistance to senior technicians on larger jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to four years related experience.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
  • Ability to utilize laptop computers and portable diagnostic tools required.
