Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at Altru Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care and education to optimize their understanding of their diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Exam Preparation: Ensure that a written physician order is received prior to each exam and collect pertinent information to ensure accurate and complete exams.
  • Image Review: Review images on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for quality and completeness, and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate regard for patients' safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning of patients.
  • Pharmaceutical Administration: Prepare pharmaceutical vials for injection, calculate and measure dosage accurately, and administer orally or by intravenous injection (IV) the correct diagnostic or therapeutic dosage.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete records of all material received, dispensed, decayed, and disposed of.
Certifications and Requirements
  • Radiographer certification from the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners
  • Radiographer certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 6 months of start date
  • Computed Tomography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 24 months of start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of start date
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and handling/finger/feel. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to medium pounds and work in an indoor environment.
