Job Overview

MPW is a growing company that requires the operation of tools and equipment in various customer work sites to provide industrial and environmental cleaning services. We are seeking a skilled CDL A Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the branch or jobsite on time, in uniform, and properly groomed, mentally alert, and physically able to work.
• Operate MPW vehicles (cars or vans) and set up jobsites, including water blast hoses or vacuum hoses.
• Use equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, dry vacuum hoses, wet vacuum hoses, shovels, and picks.
• Adhere to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and clean equipment prior to return to the MPW branch location.
• Demonstrate initiative in the execution of assigned tasks and perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to maintain a consistent workload involving heavy manual labor.
• Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit, and maneuver in confined spaces.
• Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
• Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to various states for days or weeks and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades.
• Some High School Education acceptable.
• Valid Drivers License with CDL - Class A, and be within current limits for MPW Driver Points.
• Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
• Experience performing manual labor in an outside setting.
• 2-3 years of "hands on" experience with tools or heavy equipment.
